My Ally is a new support telephone line and email service that is available to any woman impacted by domestic abuse or relationship struggles, whether they need a one-off call/email, or would like to contact us time and time again.

Our team are all female volunteers who have lived experience of domestic abuse and will be on hand to listen, explore practical solutions or just have a chat with any woman who makes contact.

We are not an emergency service or an advice line, and any woman who needs further support than we offer will be referred in-house to our domestic abuse team at WWC Plus, or to an alternative pathway.

Our team is there to support women by providing a confidential listening ear and space for them to talk about their day, to discuss any upset or troubles they may be experiencing, to someone who has been there and can understand.

Our opening hours for the telephone line are currently Monday-Friday 9am – 5pm.  Telephone number is 01923 927 500 or you can email us anytime ally@watfordwomenscentre.org.uk

Please only email us if it is safe for you to receive a response and always keep yourself safe online by following our simple guide below:

Sometimes all a person wants is an empathetic ear; all they  need is to talk it out. Just offering a listening ear and an understanding heart for their suffering can be a big comfort.
