My Ally is a support telephone line, email and face-to-face service that is available to any woman impacted by domestic abuse or relationship struggles, whether they need to make a one-off call/email/visit, or would like to use our services frequently.

Our team consists of all female volunteers who have lived-experience of domestic abuse who will be on-hand to listen, explore practical solutions or just have a chat with any woman who makes contact or visits our groups.

We are not an emergency service or a specialist domestic abuse support service, and any woman who needs further support than we can offer will be referred in-house to the Domestic Abuse Support Services team at WWC or to an alternative pathway.

Sometimes all a person wants is an empathetic ear; all they need is to talk it out. Just offering a listening ear and an understanding heart for their suffering can be a big comfort.
