WELLBEING AND MENTAL HEALTH

 

Watford Women’s Centre is committed to supporting the wellbeing and mental health of all women in our community. 

 

Build Confidence and Self Esteem 

 

We provide personal development courses and workshops for women to support their mental health, and to teach them techniques which they can use to lead more independent and productive lives. See our workshops and courses here.

 

Low Cost Counselling

 

We provide low-cost counselling for women over the age of 18, allowing them to talk to female therapists in a safe and supportive environment. 

 

Relationship and Domestic Abuse Support Services

 

Our Relationship and Domestic Abuse Support Services telephone and peer-to-peer support groups for women of 18+ provide a listening ear to women experiencing domestic abuse or relationship issues. The service is provided by trained volunteers who are domestic abuse survivors, who will be able to listen and provide support.

 

Virtual Social Groups

 

Meet like-minded ladies in one or all of our interest groups, and share ideas about arts, crafts, mindfulness activities, yoga, or have virtual "coffee and chat" mornings! Join one of our Facebook Social Groups today.
